Hi, I’m Dani. I understand deciding on the right counsellor can be a daunting task so my aim is to provide you with as much information as you need to aid your decision. Starting counselling or coming to a new counsellor can be a experience the can cause feelings of anxiety and needs to be in a place and with a person you feel comfortable with. My aim as your counsellor is to help you feel as comfortable and safe as possible in a confidential space that suits your needs and preferences.

With this in mind, I can offer you counselling face to face in Barry Counselling Service practise, a home visit, online or via the telephone.

I work in a pluralistic manner meaning I have trained in different theories of counselling including psychodynamic, person centred, cognitive behavioural therapy, transactional analysis, REBT

Training, qualifications & experience
I have been working independently since ending my core training.
I have years of therapeutic experience adapting the experience to the person in front of me and how they wish to work.
