Hi there and welcome, I’m Andrew. I’m a time served accredited counsellor with a background in Psychological Sciences. I’ve been part of the BCS counselling team for over a year now and have worked with a diverse range of clients to offer a tailored counselling experience. I rely upon a Pluralistic approach in order to provide the skills and tools that may be helpful to you and your requirements. These include, Person-Centred Counselling, Psychodynamic Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behaviourism, Existentialism, Attachment Theory, Transactional Analysis, Systemic Counselling, amongst others.
I am aware of how daunting seeking help for the first time can be and so creating a safe and secure space for us to work within a non-judgemental and confidential environment is my primary goal. I strive to tailor the counselling sessions for you as an individual and hence I view our time together as a collaboration in creating a strong working alliance. I also like to think that having completed a Masters in Psychological Sciences enables me to bring a greater depth and understanding to the sessions, within a practical framework.
I am happy to work face to face, online or over the phone, depending on your preference. If you have any further questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to ask me.
So, when you are ready to get started on your counselling journey, I look forward to working with you!
